The room was absolutely huge and spotlessly clean, with an equally spacious bathroom. Having a bar and restaurant on site was so convenient, and the location was simply breathtaking. I wish I had more time to explore. The bar staff may not have spoken English, but the lady in charge was incredibly friendly and spoke perfect English. The breakfast spread was lovely, and the location was incredibly peaceful.

The tour desk was a great help in planning our day trips and offering suggestions. The staff was incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The rooms were spacious and clean, providing ample space for our children to play. The restaurant on-site served delicious food, and we loved dining outside in the picturesque surroundings.
My wife says that the pillows were a little too soft for her liking, but that's really the only thing!

Always stay at the same place in Schauenburg. Staff recommended great local restaurants during my first visit. Has everything I need: Wi-Fi, free parking, flat-screen TV, and a shared kitchen. Perfect for my city trips. Can't wait to go back!

The scenic location of this hotel is breathtaking, offering stunning views of the countryside. The continental breakfast was absolutely delicious, with a great variety of options. The large and clean rooms were a definite highlight, along with the friendly staff who were very helpful.
The only downside to this hotel is that it's located in a very small village with limited places to eat or drink nearby. Guests should be prepared to either drive to a bigger town or stay on-site for their meals.

A fantastic place! We rented the cheapest room for a quick stop on the way to Netherlands and wish we could have stayed longer. The room was very spacious, without any defects and fantastically clean, as was the entire building. Breakfast is only good stuff, not a cheap one like in many other places. Kathrin, the owner, was extremely nice and helpful, we felt like home from the first minute. A nice option for a quick walk to the German countryside.
Strongly recommend this hotel.

The place was absolutely mind-blowing, from the cute and cozy room to the stunning location in a beautiful village. The staff was super friendly and helpful, even waiting up for us when we arrived late. The breakfast had everything we needed, including oat milk, and the self-service snack and wine bar was a great addition. The large clean room and bathroom were a jaw-dropping surprise, and the on-site bar and restaurant were a bonus. The free parking and luggage storage were convenient, and the flat-screen TV and electric kettle added an extra touch of comfort. The shared kitchen was a nice option, and the hiking and cycling opportunities in the area were great for exploring the German countryside. this place exceeded all expectations and we can't wait to return. Board games, cots, and the option to bring pets were additional perks, and the no-smoking policy on-site ensured a fresh and clean atmosphere.

I had a blast exploring the countryside on my bike and going for leisurely walks. The breakfast buffet was a feast fit for a queen. Oh, and I even tried my hand at horse riding!
Hiking, cycling, horse riding. seriously?

The room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The kids loved the tour desk, where the staff were friendly and helpful in suggesting family-friendly activities in the area. It was a great convenience to have everything we needed right on the property.
My wife says that it would be even better if there were a small playground or play area for the children.

The hotel room was large and clean with a spacious bathroom. The breakfast was lovely and the staff were friendly and helpful. The remote location provided a very peaceful atmosphere for a good night's sleep. The parking and outdoor area were very convenient and well-kept.
The restaurant lacked some variety in their menu choices, but overall it was nice.

The room at Fritz'Es Goldener Stern was cozy and comfortable. I loved the homely feel with the TV and satellite channels - perfect for a relaxing evening. The private bathroom with a shower was convenient for my needs. As a guest with disabilities, I appreciated the thoughtful accommodation.
The only drawback for me was the lack of internet access in the room. But hey, that's just my personal opinion and others might not mind.
